On March 7, the eve of International Women’s Day, Prof. Francisca de Haan received a Suffrage Science Award 2025. The awards were presented during a celebratory event in the Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin Building in Oxford. Each award season, there are around twelve laureates from disciplines such as physics, chemistry and more. Every woman receives a Suffrage Science ornament, which she will later pass on to a new laureate. Prof. de Haan was nominated by Prof. em. Ina van Berkelaer-Onnes of Leiden University. De Haan also took part in the panel entitled ‘Inspiring Change’.
