Ráhel is a PhD-student in Comparative Gender Studies since 2011. Her PhD-research engages in the discussions about bisexuality through the analysis of life-course interviews in Budapest, Hungary. She examines how personal narratives about the changing desires towards women and men accross a life-span produce and perform various gendered sexualities, identities and subjectivities.
Her areas of expertise include sociology; narrative, sociolinguistic, and interactionist analyses; aesthetics; queer and performativity theories; post-socialist scholarship in Central-Eastern Europe; anthropology of gender and sexuality.
