Iva Dimovska is a first-year Doctoral student in Comparative Gender Studies at the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts (2012) and a Master of Arts (2015) in General and Comparative Literature from the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, Macedonia, as well as a Master of Arts degree in Critical Gender Studies (2015) from the Central European University.
Her doctoral project examines the interrelated representations of time and sexuality in modernist literature, specifically focusing on James Joyce, Virginia Woolf, Marcel Proust and Thomas Mann. Her research interests revolve around queer theory, modernist literature, modernism, sexuality studies, philosophy of time and poststucturalist theory,
