Dmitri Dorogov is a doctoral candidate at the Department of Gender Studies, CEU. He received his M.A. in Philosophical Anthropology from National Research University - Higher School of Economics (Moscow, Russia). While a student at HSE, he spent a semester as an international student at the Department of Arts and Humanities of the University of Cologne.

His doctoral project is concerned with delineating a critical genealogy of the biopolitics of 'sexual sovereignty' in Putinite Russia.

His research interests include post-foundational political philosophy, governmentality studies, discourse theory and queer theory.

Dmitri speaks Russian (native), English (fluent) and German.
