STINT: New Tools for Transnational Analysis in Postgraduate Intersectional Gender Research

As internationalization is of utmost importance for the content and formats of postgraduate research in gender studies, especially as many geopolitical power relations, even within gender studies, often remain unchallenged, the project is launched with the following aims:

- To establish an international training milieu stimulating new research sensitive to the relationship between theoretical approaches and geopolitical contexts, and that builds on critically self-reflexive awareness of the meaning of contexts and transversal transnational dialogues.

- To establish a research collaboration exploring the possibilities of improving tools for transnational analysis that transgresses methodological nationalisms.

- To enhance the transnational quality of the gender research training in each of the participating universities and to strengthen the employability of the doctoral candidates focusing their research training on transnationalisation in terms of research contents and in terms of skills in transnational research coordination and interaction.
