The MA thesis of Gender Studies Graduate Piret Karro entitled "'You're being hysterical' and 'This is a witch-hunt': Discourses discrediting gender in Estonian media" received an honorable mention at the National Contest for University Students 2020, organized by the Estonian Research Council and the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research. Piret Karro's thesis is one of three theses that received an honorable mention, next to the prizes in the humanities MA category.
